Hi folks, I'm new to the forum and just purchased a 2015 4cyl access cab 4x4 Tacoma. I'm busy working on adding the upgrades I like and plan on doing the fog lights pretty soon. While looking around in the fuse panel, it reveals that my truck is not pre-wired however there is an extra wire taped up right below the drivers side headlight. Would anyone know what this wire is and what is does. Looks like it's taped to the horn wire. Thanks

I noticed that wire on my 2014 RC also. Has a little plug on the end. Wondering what it is myself.

The more I search the more it seems to point to a fuel pump resistor, guess it's not needed on the 2.7. I did put a tester on it and one side is ground and the other shows no ground and no power. Tried turning lights and drl on and still no power. Was going to try and see if I press horn is it gets power but didn't want to piss off my neighbors. But as of this point no positive answer.
