Well I hit 240,000 on my 2005 4 cylinder 4x4 access cab and I have beat it literally to death. (I promise not to list for sale on this site). I have a plethora of issues, i.e. Oil Leak (Think from timing cover), clacking (from timing cover possibly timing chain tensioner?), issues with truck rusting out from beach driving and i am going to pull motor and rebuild..

Planning on new timing chain kit, oil pump, rings, and gaskets etc..

Any suggestions on where to buy the parts? maybe vendor on this site? Maybe some other parts that should be replaced while I have it out?

Any suggestions on do's and dont's with this VVT-i motor? Will cylinders be ok to re-hone if they are in good order?

Anything to think about in addition to what my plan is for rebuild?
    :)

    Thanks in advance..
