Size of front diff breather hose?

98 Tacoma V6 3.4, TRD 4x4 5-speed 100k miles

Hi y'all. So I just pulled the breather hose off of the front diff of my 98 V6 4x4, and I am trying to figure out it's size. On other threads some folks have said it's 3/8", others say 5/16".

The hose itself says "08FUEL TI 22". My guess is the "08" stands for 8mm, which should be roughly 5/16". But maybe those numbers don't mean squat. Can anyone confirm?
