Just this evening I noticed my brake lights are staying on, is there a switch or something along that line that could need replacing?

On my 2014, there's a pin switch at the top of the brake pedal.

i had the problem of my brake pedal sticking like a centimeter down from being fully disengaged, which kept the brake lights on. try to lift up on it a bit and see if that is the case with you as well. i ended up spraying a bunch of lubricant on the spring for the pedal return and it helped
