Does anyone know or have had their chassis replaced by dealer for chassis recall? I live in PA and just had my 2007 4dr 4wd Tacoma taken from me for chassis replacement.

I'm on a fairly long (40 ahead of me) list waiting for the dealer to inspect my frame to see if it needs to be replaced or coated with the anti-rust material. Do you know if your frame actually had a hole in it? The dealer said it needs to have one half inch hole somewhere in the frame for them to replace the frame.

I know my frame is getting pretty bad, but I haven't been able to find a hole yet. I've replaced gas tank straps, and everything under there is pretty rusty. When I get a newer Tacoma, I'm going to coat it with fluid film right away.

I had mine done on my 2004 Tacoma. Pretty painless procedure. The dealer had my truck for 3 weeks. They provided a loaner. After a couple months there was a rattle which the dealer fixed.
