very rarely need help, its a toyota thing I guess

Truck running fine when parked, no funny noises, no nothing. Get in 30 mins later, crank it, it tries to start (something it never failed to do before, even with 200K on it), then nothing but starter cranking. Battery had been run down by lights being left on recently, so I started out with a new battery, but that's not it. No spark at plug wire. Suggestions range from immobiliser (no idea there) to timing belt (no odd sounds when cranked), cam/crankshaft positioner, fuses/relays. Where to start?

 

Check fuses. I'd be leaning toward cam/crank sensors or coolant temp sensor but I could (probably) be wrong.

 

Proper diagnositcs would be a good start .

MAF and throttle position also. See if there is a code on it if you can get your hands on a scanner
