Hoping to get some advice/opinions on what to do next. I am about to pull the trigger on a 3" lift. Going with 5100s OME 887s and an AAL, I would really like to get this installed this spring when the snow is gone.

I currently have the stock sport suspension with the trd off road wheels and Hankook dynapro atm 265/75/16 tires. They have about 7k miles on them. I really want to get some 17" wheels, I'm thinking XD addicts or a similar style. I would like to lift my truck and just ride out the wheel/tire combo I have now until the tires are toast, then upgrade tires and wheels when I need them. However, I've read that I'll need wheel spacers in order to keep my stock wheels after the lift.

SO, would it be worth it to get the spacers (spidertrax) and then sell them (possibly with the wheels) After about a year of use? OR I could just upgrade wheels and tires right away and try to sell my current wheels and tires together (the tires would have roughly 10k miles).

Obvious solution is to just wait to do the lift...but I just don't think I can do that :D
    What to do?

Nah. I believe only if your going 285 to minimize the rubbing.

I have 3" lift on stock tire and offroad rim. No rubbing at all. Still waiting for my stock tires to wear out for some 285s
