I recently purchased a 2010 with the jbl package. Whenever I get a phone call it makes this horrible loud alert through the speakers. I tried looking through the manual and nothing. Any ideas

Not sure about the JBL system, but my stock one gives a loud ring (louder than radio) when an incoming call or text comes through. Of course, this is only when I'm in BT mode. Also, the voice communication is louder than the radio volume when I'm using it. I guess they want us to stay awake while talking and driving. When the call is done, it's back to the volume I had set for music. If you turn down the volume when talking, the volume will be lower on music. At least on mine it does. So, for whatever reason, the voice is always louder than music. Not by much, but it is; at least on mine.
