I did put 89 octane in her today, so she's 50-50 87/89 right now. I have noticed fairly poor fuel economy, about 13mpg combined. This will be the first fresh tank of 88? octane to start a check on. It'll likely be all city, and coming up I'll be moving so we'll see how a light load affects her.

This is also the first full tank since I did air filter and spark plugs. I had to do a trip to el cajon last week and burnt 1/4 tank! just getting there. Knocked all the junk from the air filter in the parking lot and burnt 1/8 tank going home. It has a week old OE toyota filter in it now, bought from the dealer. Also used plugs from dealer (denso iirc), gapped .041. They were sold as "pre-gapped" but as expected, ranged from .039-.043. I fixed that.

Time will tell. I'm starting to enjoy driving her more as I'm learning how she handles and how to predict her. I was admittedly being very cautious at first having no experience behind her wheel.
