Oh wowwww. My truck had 3 improper spark plugs installed prior!

Amazing. Any theories on why?

 

I read something about polarity somewhere where the NGKs were striking a positive and the Denso follows with a negative or vice versa, giving the engine some kind of electrical juju. I couldn't comprehend what I read and not sure I buy it anyway, especially if you swap to all Denso and it operates the same if not better.

Outstanding point.

I can imagine a bunch of young people at Toyota, trying some shit out. It would be nice if they would share some details with the public, maybe not take themselves so seriously. Such an approach has worked very positively for some other companies.

 

To keep their suppliers happy so they will all ways have plugs to screw in. One or the other are going to sell them plugs no matter who they piss off.
