How did you mount the C3 on the back of the truck?

For now I just used some thick 3m hook & loop. Works well. The cam comes with all sorts of mounts

I have a shell with solid doors, so installation locations for a rear camera are limited. I could re-purpose the backup camera, though I want a camera for traffic in case I get rear ended again in addition to the backup camera. My ATO bumper pretty much rules out a license plate camera. Though there may be some that can be mounted on the bottom of the plate and allow the image to be inverted. I was thinking of a C3 with some sort of semi custom mount just above the license plate.

I think the c3 would be a good fit. The cable on the lens is only about 3feet. I spoke w/innovv and they said you could extent it without sacrificing picture quality. I'm having a hard time finding a type C mini hdmi extension. I guess they are pretty popular on motorcycles. Picture quality/sounds are great. I can't get it to work with the longer power cable so I have to rely on the shorter data transfer cable. Good luck

I scanned through this thread yesterday and couldn't find what I'm looking for. Does anyone use software to join multiple loops into a single video. I had watched the "techmoan" review and saw that he had done it ... but didn't leave reference to the software. I Googled it and found a couple; the first one wouldn't launch and the 2nd one did nothing more than my Media Player already did.
I'm not trying to get too sophisticated, but would like to splice some of the loop videos into one.
    Thanks.
BTW, I just purchased the Eprance, Mini 0801 off Amazon; I was leery of cheaper, possible, imitation units on ebay, and bit the bullet. So far, I like the camera ... excellent daytime video (and picks up audio quite well). I haven't had a chance to view any night time video, yet. I'm still waiting on the hardwire kit to make my installation complete.

If you use Linux, OpenShot is a free Video Editor that is somewhat easy to use. It has a LiveCD version you can use, too. You burn the ISO to a disc and boot your PC off it. Then you can load up your videos and edit them and save them to local HD or USB drive. No need to install the software or use Linux as your regular OS.

I won a gopro hero at a company function and have been using that.
I bought a good rear view mirror mounting bracket for it.
The gopro is not very good at night.

Sorry, No. I switched to the Lukas LK-7900 ACE. I tried to move the Crimestopper and broke it trying to get it off the windshield so I could install a mirror riser. I also changed how I have my camera connected, the Lukas is wired to my second battery and runs 24x7.
