    Hoping to get bigger tires once my current ones run out. Looking at the tire calculator they are close to being the same. Hoping someone with experience can tell me the pros and cons of each size.

    I would get the 285s, because I dont like wide tires and they will be lighter with better mileage.

    Kyb shocks/struts, Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in 285/70R17.
    Measure it out. Its only 20 more (mm/cm)? wider... Also, depends on what you want wider for vs skinnier.
