    So he sorted the cable...and the track. I can probably just buy a new cable at the hardware store then...hmmm

    ok breakthrough...so that ridgeline assembly he was using wasn't for the side windows at all. I guess the Ridgelines have a rear power sliding window in the back glass. THAT'S what he got it from. finally getting somewhere with this.

    Here's a link that shows the blown up view of the parts for the ridgeline rear window and you can see the drawing of the regulator assembly looks exactly like the pics of it in the thread.
    http://estore.honda.com/honda/parts...?m=2014-ridgeline-4-rts-5at&sn=&b=B++5210&dl=

    and for some reason Dorman doesn't list the rear window assembly on their site so not sure if they even make one. Here's the best price I've found so far on that assembly: http://www.myhondapartsstore.com/my...rtact=add&qty=1&cat1=&cat2=&cat3=&cat4=&cat5=

    maybe I'll have a project to work on at Ryans mod day afterall! maybe...

    honestly, judging by what he showed in his thread, I bet the cable stop on the end just pulled off. I bet if you just take it apart and put a new stop on the end it should be good as new.

    Yea I know it was for the ridgeline rear window...
    I've been wanting to get another whole assembly to see what it looks like and see if it fits fine

    The cable snapped dead center lol

    And the ends have these small little circular stops that get wedged onto the motor...

    oh ok, just wanted to let you know before you bought it from that link you sent me a while back because that link you sent was for one of the rear side windows and not for the back window and that'd be an expensive mistake.

    oh ok, yeah just go to a bike shop and buy some new cable and we can fix it if you show up to the mod day at Ryans.

    I've been looking at pics of this and thinking about it for so long now I could practically build a kit in my sleep if I had all the right parts!

    Weird. I ordered mine from the U.S. did you get yours from China?

    Edit: had mine for 10 months. No problems. I use it all the time when I use the handheld.

    Yup same issue. I have to do that in order to update the channels. My handheld speaker/mic works fine. But my USB cable has that problem. On the mic I remember it was difficult to plug in and bending the smaller prong in a little helped it to go in easier (that's what she said). In gonna try that with the USB cable next time I boot up my computer and see if that helps.

    No it recognizes the driver and sees it when I plug it in, but when I go to transfer a radio image in CHIRP it acts like it can't see it unless I squeeze the plug.
