Hello everyone. Glad to be a member on this awesome site. I've owned a couple of tacos in the past but currently have a 2005 DC-SB, TRD off road with 90k miles on it. K&N cold air intake & I also have an ARE bed shell. Great truck!!!
I've been doin a lot of reading/research on this forum for the last few weeks ( finally figured out how to start a thread & ask ?'s, thanks to another discussion on here---do to new tap talk app... ) trying to figure out what kind of suspension lift to invest in. Been getting some great advice, so much I had to start writing down notes!! :) lol. I don't do a whole lot of 4 wheelin persay but like to get up in the mountains here for some backwoods fishin & campin with family and friends.
The only performance shop in town deals a lot with pro comp & quoted me a price. After reading a lot of threads on here & talkin to different people I've got mixed feelings about them. Ur thoughts?? Now I'm kinda leaning more toward an OME 2.5"-3" lift kit, using 885x coils with dakar AAL in the back. I'm still tryin to figure out the best shocks to go with it. I don't wanna go much more than 3" but I do wanna level my trk out & create a little more clearance!! :)
This is my first lift so pretty new to the game so any/all suggestions & info will b greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Well since I live in CO, I looked at toytec --- figured out that if I go with 885 coils with plate spacer & OME 90000 nitro charger w/trim packer for the front & Dakar leaf pack, either the OME 60091 or N182 for the back. I can have them assemble coils/shocks together to make it easier for my own install & I will still save money rather than having my local shop install pro comp lift.
How tall do u think that will give me? To much? How stiff on daily commute? Will I need UCA's? Any help would be great. Thanks.
