Hey, I loooked and did not find and answer for this.

    I have this
21.5Inch 120W Amber/White Led Spot Flood Light Bar

When wiring, the light has Red/Black/and Yellow wire coming from it, what is the yellow wire for?

I have a 40 amp relay wiring harness with just a red/black wire to the lights.

Most likely Yellow is the On/Off wire. Pics might help as well, or who made the light bar.

my guess is the yellow wire is to trigger the ambers. need to know who makes that bar and track down a wiring diagram.

Sweet someone got one of these bars. I found em a while back. Be sure to share a vid if you can and let us know how the output is as well. And of course how you wired them... Curious to see these in action!

Figured it out, yellow wire is for amber. That is what i wanted it for and they are bright! I am not using the red wire but if you want to switch between white/amber it comes with a wiring harness that i did not use. There are no instructions for the harness and it is not using conventional red/black/white wiring. I will upload picks later.

Ok, now the lights do not work, if I check the voltage connected to light i get 3.4 volts,
If I disconnect the hot wire(yellow) and check voltage I get 12.6 volts. I checked ground and it is good. I am running harness with 30 amp relay. Would going to 40 amp relay help?
    Any ideas? thanks.

FWIW, I gave up and wired the red wire to pos. Worked great and bright, so put everything back together and now nothing again... frustrating.

I'm no wiring guru but I would guess all would be well if you connected all three wires. I would think yellow triggers the ambers(like you stated above) and red triggers the whites the of course black for ground. Then if it were hooked up to that dual trigger switch, maybe it might just make it happy. When you hooked it up the second time with the red, were the ambers still functioning? And now neither wire will produce light?

Yesterday I replaced the relay (40 amp)thinking the one i had was defective. Still no light. I get up this morning to warm the truck up and tried it and it worked, good light.
Turned the switch off and back on and now no light again. I switched between amber (yellow wire) and white (red wire) and still no light.
Beginning to think the light is defective.

Update, got it all working. I had to install the wiring harness designed for bi color, double row LED lightbars.

    http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/Switch-Kit-for-bi-color-lights_p_894.html

I am only interested in the Amber light so was trying to just wire that with an existing harness. Apparently, have to use a dual relay harness with a DTDP switch.

Glad i finally got it working... thanks for the replies!
