I've been getting alot of people telling me that there is something wrong with my truck. I've looked around these forums and the "ticking" seems to be normal. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on it. In case something sounds odd.

Truck is in idle on a cold start up in the morning. I've put the VSV rubber washer mod on my truck. I personally feel it's fine. I feel no loss of power or anything out of the ordinary.

That sounds more like a knock than a tick. Oil level good? Ever ran it low on oil?

Definitely not the normal Taco Tick, knocking for sure. I'd try to diagnosis, oil level, stethoscope, etc.

Nope never ran it low on oil since I bought it last year. Not sure about the owners beforehand. Guess I will end up taking it to the dealership and see if I can find the root of the problem.

The maint req'd light is just on because I did a oil change the day before and forgot to reset it.

    Thanks for the advice
