well look. id be interested to look at them and have an objective opinion but someone deleted all the damn information about them other than the pics. one was left about them mounting with 3m tape. someone comes into the thread wondering what its about and its a bunch of "delete" for all I know the stupid thread is about the step bars in place but then I look it the pics again and see there is molding taped to the door. some would find it useful, I myself do not which not everyone will but I think the way the OP handled it is exceptionally retarded and immature. "someone disagreed so im taking my toys home" kind of bullshit.

Im always curious as to what someone is doing whether I like it or not

Wow, that was like a small dog fight going on there for a second! Lotta Alpha's on this board, so the other posters are right, you have to have a thick skin. Sometimes you have to give as good as you get, other times it's just not worth it.

I wouldn't be interested in a group buy. I'll just keep taking the precautions I take now and hope for the best. Thought I'd ask about them for future reference if I wind up getting some. You might want to consider adding to "Door Moldings or Guards" to your title to aid in searches, and give out your "source" if you don't get enough interest to support a group buy.

The thing about door dings I hate is what they represent; Self centered dickweeds who have no appreciation for others' rides, the effort in work, money, etc. it took to get the car or truck in the shape it's in and to maintain it. Half the time it's because they can't take the time or effort to park correctly or put the cart in a cart corral. Mass produced or not, it's still a dick move to door ding anyone, and when you've just shelled out 32K of hard earned money for a new car or truck, it sucks monkey balls to get one.

My salute to all you vets out there. Thanks! :infantry:

Okay I need thicker skin. I easily get pissed off. Sorry, anyway I talked to the guy today and he is talking to his management team and getting back to me about the group buy. Here is a link to them http://www.ebay.com/itm/35121498410...em=&sspagename=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr. Super easy to put on and use 3M tape. Color matched to any vehicle color. Just waiting for him to get back to me on pricing. Tested these on several cars and when they open their doors, every door hit that first. Even another Tacoma hit that first. Yes some people buy these vehicles and could care less if they get dented and such. I don't wheel with mine, so yes it's a Mall Crawler. Just figured I would see if there was any interest in these. And I at no time would see how someone could confuse these with a step to enter the vehicle. The three people I showed them too after putting them on, had to be shown to as to where they were. They blend in really well. But hey you make the choice, just trying to help some people out.

Wow, took the time to hammer out a thoughtful, helpful post and the guy got so butt hurt he deleted everything. He took his ball and went home... I guess he's outside admiring his door guards. :D

My salute to the vets still stands though. Thanks Again! :infantry:

I see the usefulness of these. I wonder how well they can protect if the truck is lifted. Combined with sliders I bet you could stop worrying about door dings altogether.

I had them on my 2010 with the 3 inch lift, and it helped even more when parked next to bigger trucks like Silverado's and bigger F seires. I mean the best thing to do is park in the next town over when you go somewhere. But that can't always happen, so if people are like me and very anal. These definitely help.

They actually look pretty good. I'm not a fan of them on cars in general, but I like that they're flat(ter) and don't stick out much. Subtle.

I don't see how you could say they look bad, they're barely noticeable. Yeah OP I agree, $6? He didn't want any business.
