Helping my brother out by asking if there is anyone that has repaired their own factory radio? The shop told him that the power supply unit inside the radio has failed. He can't afford a used radio let along a new one. Anyone repaired their own radio?

If the power supply in the radio is shot it will cost more in parts then it would to just go on here and buy someones used stock HU.

I sold my entire JBL kit, (HU, all 4 doors, amp/sub) for $40.
