Find the speaker for the seatbelt chime and make it stop that way? I see where on my 2013 the dealer can make it go away and even a mod to the belt clip itself but am wondering if the speaker it self can be removed or disabled. PLEASE, no wear it comments. You want to wear it, good, have at it but don't push your own desire for the thing on me... Time for popcorn

I just turned it off in my 2013. There is a tutorial on how to do it with a Bluetooth obd adaptor and the proper commands you need to enter into a putty terminal. The dealer can also use their techstream unit to turn it off.

Maybe this way would be better for you. I originally had the dealer disable mine, but it didn't take care of the buzzer when the door was open. I removed the buzzer more because it drives me nuts when the doors are open and I have the stereo on. Either one works,

Another way to fix the door buzzer is to remove the lower steering column cover, just two screws, then unplug the little plug on the bottom of the ignition tumbler. It's only job is to trigger the door buzzer. Life is peaceful without it :)

Had done this also. Only bad part about it, the doors will lock with the key in the ignition. Easy to lock yourself out if your not prepared for it.

Problem with that is by doing that you will now be able to lock your keys in the truck when they are in the ignition.

If you want the stereo on with doors open and truck off, do what I did and put a simple switch on the ignition on line to a 12v constant hot. Now I can turn my radio on whenever I want, or flip it back to have it turn on when the truck is on.

Also you don't need to buy a knockoff techstream cable, all you need is an elm327 and a Bluetooth connection to a laptop, download the free program putty, set it up connect to the ecu input a couple of commands boom. No more seatbelt beep.

Wasn't bad at all. I take my time with stuff like that and still don't think it took more than an hour.
