Nope. When I was younger, I did all of my own maintenance. I loved crawling under a vehicle and getting dirty. But, at my age (60 with bad knees) it's something I've lost love for.
I have mine done every 3K. I use a local garage that has been taking care of my vehicles for over a decade.
Once a year I have them give it a good "once over". It costs me about $100. But, in return they give me four twenty-five dollar gift cards. I apply one per oil change and end up paying about $14 per oil change for it.

I would do it myself but it's cheaper to have someone else do it. I like to spend my small amount of "free" time with the kids. Drop the truck off and walk across the street for breakfast. When they get older and more independant I'll go back to doing my own oil changes.

I would normally do it myself as I have with all my other mobiles, however I get free oil changes for life......without haveing to get all my services done at the dealership....thus most often I just take it in there!

I use to change myself but with my 08 purchase I get a lifetime warranty on the drivetrain as long as the dealer always does the oil change.

I am too old to be crawling around under the truck and have Express Lube do it every 3500 miles.
