To me the issue with the seats is lack of an adjust to the seat cushion angle. I shimmed the rear of the seat height and that helped significantly.

Love the King Ranch style seat covers! Don't know how well that would like in my 2015. I'm going to try spacers on the seat frame to see if that does anything. Maybe the 2016 will finally come with power seats to get the adjustment right.

There's already pictures of the limited 2016 DC out. There's a lumber adjustment that's manual and a good ole lever for reclining the seats. It doesn't look like power seats are coming to the Tacoma.

    No significant mods....yet
I have the lumbar support all the way forward and it's still not very supportive to my back. I've had an additional back support strapped onto the seat for a while and it seems to help but the headrest is still a little bit weird so I might consider getting an additional forward support to that too. These aren't the most comfy vehicles but if I wanted a nicer ride I'd opt for the Tundra

It's funny you bring this up...

I've had my 2015 TRD OR for 2 weeks now, and since getting it I've started to have back pain as well.

I don't have a history of back pain, as I'm only 26, and can't recall doing anything to strain my back, however I am 6'3". I think the TRD seat is very comfortable, and not laying all blame on the truck just yet, but I definitely feel like I'm in an awkward posture. I guess time will tell.

My commute each day is also an hour each way so maybe I'm subjecting myself to longer seat time than most
