I would question the legitimacy of info in that article seems a bit hokey "deeper exhaust note?"

 

I love my '14, but I wouldn't mind a 6-speed auto and the "infamous" heated mirrors.

I would be surprised if they did not put in a v8. However, if they do go the v8 route think they will offer a different transmission compared to other engines?

Or just build 1 with different gear ratios?

 

I agree. "narrow scoops" and a "well-sculpted hood." I doubt they saw either of the parts under the camo or the teaser pics.

 

I really doubt a new v8. They're all trying to compete for fuel economy... Hell ford has a new twin turbo 4 banger

 

And they also have a 5.0 v8 in a car

 

as long as toyota has 1 (or maybe 2) fuel efficient packages they can rock the v8 no sweat because a v8 won't be the only engine option.

 

Not in a truck tho. Both ecoboost truck engines are V6s.

 

Maybe the aftermarket parts will become cheaper? Just a thought, didn't it do that with the 1st gens when the 2nd gen came out?

The pic in the OP looks better then what is coming out.

 

Aftermarket companies could do good things with this design.New bumpers and a grill.

 

Awful instruments and rear drums? Come on! For 35k+ Id expect better gauges than 1995 and disc brakes on all 4 corners

 

I think that i will just keep my toys and wait another 5 or so years!!!
