Alright, it's the residential idiot 17 year old kid back with some questions for the boys in the forums! I was wondering if anyone knew of good, well priced, easy to install roof brackets for a 50" light bar? With absolutely minimal cost, drilling, cutting, ETC. I put a 22" on my bullbar, purchased from Amazon for 90$ and it is fantastic, I mounted it on my bullbar with plenty of locktite using the adjustable mounts, silicon sealed the lens, and did all the wiring myself while adding a daystar rocker switch, all in all with hardware, wiring, fuse, light bar, switch, Silicon and blue loctite, I was in only about 140$ and 5 hours altogether (running from lowes to homedepot to RadioShack, eventually landing at autozone looking for mini blade fuses took up the most time, like i said I am an idiot) but so far it's been on for 2 months in the utah wet, and I've ran it plenty out in the west desert, and it does great. Can a roof bar be purchased and Installed with around similar effort and only a bit more money? I am at this point a firm believer that cheap light bars ARENT always bad as long as they're silicon sealed. Also, where would optimal placement be for the hole that the wiring must pass through the roof? I always have plenty of questions, so do pardon the curiosity. Basically I am asking for the easiest, cheapest, most effective DIY 50 inch light bar install tutorial! This question has probably been answered already, but it never hurts to ask.

    P.S. Holy run-on sentence Batman!

Well, I built my own light bar mount bracket for my 50" lift bar. Cost nothing as I used old metal I had lying around. Ran wiring by windshield, used clear silicone on it. I wired it to relay then switch.
