Do you have aftermarket tie downs.
The only difference between 24F and 27F is its length. Height its exactly the same.

Billies 5100's front set to 1.75 plus 1/4 taco lean spacer. Rears Billies plus AAL for a 2" leaf. 265/75/16 BGF's. Double din Kenwood stereo w/bluetooth and steering wheel controls and JBL speakers front & rear. Heavy duty battery. Billet grill blacked out. K&N air filter and MBRP cat-back. Just tuned it up new plugs and new front brake pads. Steel powered coated tailgate cap. Billet Grill painted black & factory roof racks. Oh new head lights thanks to toyota.
After all the replys I was going to keep the 24f, I read the reply about auto zone taking a battery back so i drove over to advance after dinner. They exchanged the 24 for a 27F no problem. I owed $7.50 and gave the young girl who installed it $5. And no I didn't let her lift either battery. Haha thanks everyone

I ran a garden tractor battery in all seasons on my last car for weight reduction. Started the 4cyl just fine at -12F for three years.

    You'll be fine.

I don't have aftermarket tie downs. It doesn't sit flush on top of the battery. The tie down closest to the headlight and is showing corrosion for some reason now.

Jim, most of South Carolina is in a "warm" climate, so unless you go somewhere that has subzero temperatures, a healthy, full charged 24F battery will start your engine just fine.
