Hey everyone! My name is Jesse and I'm from North Jersey (Sussex County). I'm 34, married with a chocolate lab I consider my kid, and I like listening to heavy music.

I just bought a brand new 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road in black YESTERDAY and I am beyond excited about it. It's my first Toyota actually, and I traded in a 2006 Ford Powerstroke diesel for it. It was time to finally downsize and the F250 was giving me so many headaches. After one test drive of the Tacoma, I knew it was the next truck for me.

So here I am, with a completely bone-stock truck for the first time in, hell, maybe 10 years. It's a strange feeling. The F250 had a 4" suspension lift and was completely modified for performance and looks. My wife is going to probably kill me if she even finds I signed up for this message board, but once the build bug bites, there is really no turning back.

Anyway, it's nice to meet you all. I'm sure I'll be reading your posts with fervor, looking for the next great idea.

    And here's my new '15!

Welcome, Im at the Joint Base. I just picked up a 2015 TRD sport, had a 2011, 2008 and 2000, they're great trucks your gonna love it. Where did you get yours? Hopefully not Freehold Toyota, they were tools and a half when I was shopping for mine. Ended up going into PA. Congrats on the new truck!

Thanks man! One of the things that drew me towards the Tacoma is that it has a reputation for reliability. My F250 had the transmission, head gasket, and EGR cooler go in the last year (which cost me a fortune -- I can't handle that shit anymore). It's nice to know people tend to stick with the truck.

I got mine in New York state. They gave me a good price online after I pitted them against another dealer and worked with me when I was there.

I feel ya. My buddies a loyal GM fanboy and his diesel is starting to act up on him. They have a few quirks but overall super reliable. I don't know about you but the Jersey dealers just didn't want to negotiate and actually lied to me several times after what they told me on the phone and then when I got there. PA dealer was flawless. Congrats I know there's a jersey group that go offloading around here, some spots I used to ride my mx bike at. Try the N.J. BS forum here. lol.
