Okay, quick run up on the situation

I am running 285/70r17 Goodyear duratracs and currently have a smaller sized spare on a 16" rim. I would like to mount a like sized 16" spare, just so I can actually drive in the event of a flat.

Goodyear lists the duratrac: 285/75r16 at 33.1" OD and the 285/70r17 at 33".. Im sure the .1" is negligible, just want to get some additional opinions and possibly someone to chime in that has experience in this situation..

    Thanks,
    Jake
