Just got around to installing my IFS skid plate and wasn't sure about these washers?

This is the position they were tie-wrapped to the skid when it arrived so I assumed they are meant to be installed on the outside like that?

The 12mm screws that go in there already have washers.

Just making sure I installed it right.

    Thanks
    KN

No washers on mine either. Doesn't seem right to me that they would install where you have them. They're essentially acting as a spacer. Do you have clearance problems without them?

This could be because when the plates came in from the factory that those existing pillars were not tall enough, and created spacing issues, so they sent you some fixit washers. I really don't think this is going to be a problem for you since the bolts will smoosh those little beasts in place, like you have them, and you'll be good to go for the lifetime of the vehicle.

I don't work for All-Pro but I do buy their shit and it is delightful.

Is it the aluminium IFS skid?

It can be different cause it's alu model instead of steel.

Those washers are for the inside of that stand-off.

We had issues with the IFS skid fitting everyones truck so we had to open up that slot for fitment. Meaning that on the aluminum skid the bolt could now pull through upon tightening. The washer is to prevent the bolt from pulling through when you tighten it down.

Just unbolt that and install it inside against your bolt-head.

Sorry for the lack of information on where they go, i'll work this out with the shipping department.
