Hey guys quick question about towing package. Do non towing Tacomas have the trans cooler?

I called the originating dealership about my trucks options and packages, I was told it came with the SR5 package but not a TRD package. My truck has a lot of what appears to be TRD options which I'm sure can be installed later.

    BTW: I'm the third owner

There are a lot of different packages and options IIFC towing has a oil cooler and the 130 amp alternator and, of course, the hitch on the back. but any of these can be added after.

So without talking with the 2 previous owners there is no way to know what actually came from the factory/dealer, correct?

If you know the dealership, they might be able to tell you. But otherwise, no.

A dealer should be able to run the VIN and tell you what it came with new.

I've contacted the original dealership and the guy told me that it's an SR5 and they installed running boards, that is no longer on. The truck has the hitch and plug, skid plate, bilstiens, and I'm pretty sure it has a trans cooler.

The trans cooler is the small one in front, sounds like you have the tow package.

I believe I do there is a smaller one. Is the radiator a two piece? It looks as if there is a slightly smaller cooler than the radiator as well
