So I'm about to lift the truck. I'm thinking of a rancho 2.5" suspension lift with 285/75/16 Goodyear fierce tires on the factory Trd off-road rims. How much wheel spacing will I need? I've seen spidertrax spacers at 1 1/4" and 1 1/2". Does this matter? If so which one do I need? Has anyone run the new fierce tires? They look like a beefier dura track. Any good? Thanks in advance.

Personally I would not run spacers and they are not cheap. Sell your current rims to make up for money spent on new rims and you will find new rims vs the spacers wont be that much more.

Looks like the fierce are more of a mud tire than the duratrac from what I am seeing. The duratracs also have sipes which will help in rain and snow conditions. But in Florida I would not be to concerned there.

Wheel spacers arent recommended but I know people that run them and they have never had any issues with it. Get the Spidertrax 1.25" spacers as thats what 95% of people on here use.

Thanks for the info. I have seen a lot of lifts without new rims and I know they have to be using spacers with 285's. What are the negatives with spacers?
