Hi everyone, I'm lifting my Taco this week and I'm putting a 17x9 Fuel Krank wheel on a 265/70/17 Nitto Trail Grappler. I'm just wondering if there will be any fitment issues since the tires are rated for 7.5-8.5 wide wheels. Thanks.

Personally, I'd pick a narrower rim for a 265 width tire.

All depends on the backspacing of the wheel. That is what determines how far out the wheel and tire will stick out from the truck. More backspacing will be closer to the truck. Less backspacing will be further away from the truck giving you more room for the tire to clear suspension components. With those tires you should be fine. They're not any wider, only a little taller.

Yeah I think I'll be good. Im going with a 5 inch backspace and I've seen other guys run the same backspace on a 17x9 with a 265 and it seems to be fine. Plus I just saw some seller on ebay selling a brand new Nitto Trail Grapplers in a 265/70/17 already mounted on a 17x9 fuel boost wheel so I think it'll fit. Thanks!
