Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for mounting position for a small amp (Alpine KTP-445U). It's only 7-7/8"W x 1-1/2"H x 2-9/16"D.

Ideally I'd like to put it somewhere pretty close to the head unit, and anchor it with the 4 self tapping screws that are included.

So far the only spot I've been able to find is the metal bar that runs just above the glove box - but I'd probably have to use zip ties to attach it to that, and I'd prefer to to run the risk of it moving around and causing noise.

Maybe inside the glove box, or under the glove box.

I have that exact unit in my 2014 and I mounted it inside my glovebox against the upper/back wall. I actually mounted the amp with screws on a piece of acrylic and then just used industrial strength velcro to attach that to the glovebox. Never drilled any holes in the truck. It's held quite well and made the wiring job very easy, plus I have easy access to the amp. Plenty of storage left in the box too.

Inside glove box, or take the glove box out and mount up under the dash. It's a tiny amp so you have lots of options.
