I don't want to do any subs. I just wanna replace the 4 speakers and two tweeters in the cab of my 2002 DC tacoma. I want speakers that have a clear crisp sound that can handle high enough volume to hear at 80 mph with all the windows down. Anything around like that that wont rip my wallet in half?

You'll need an amp to push a set of speakers that loud.

tail gate lock, rear view mirror bracket, hood hinge brackets, and the list grows.
I decided on a Pioneer Setup, single din DEH 80 PRS, stage 4 PRSA 900 amp, TS-C172PRS and TS-S062PRS speakers. But then again I didn't want nav or DVDs just good sound.

Oh and I also plan on sound deadening the doors, back wall and floor at the least.

you'll have to let me know what you think of the 80prs. I've been looking into selling my double din with nav and getting one of those.

Cool that I plan on a write up when I get it. I like the adjustment capability of the head unit. I would spring for the 99 but the no blue tooth is a killer for me on that
