New 3" Icon I lift - tires/wheels?

Just put an Icon Stage 1 on, with Deaver AAL and Icons in the rear. Looking at tires and wheels.

I'm leaning towards keeping my four stock TRD 16" rims and buying one more for a full size spare and 5-way rotation. For tires, Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10, in 285/75/R16.

I use the truck mostly for daily driving, but that's only 8500 miles/year. I live in CO, so I want something with good shoulders for rocks, and relatively low rolling resistance for better mileage. I had BFG TA/KO's on another truck and loved them, but the Hankooks get better reviews.

Anything else I should look at?

I run the 285/75/16 Hankook AT tires, they're great; super smooth, I rotate them every 5k miles... I had 35" BFG TA/KO's on my Sierra and loved them, but in my experience they did not handle wet pavement nearly as well as my Hankooks do now.

 

Sounds like the Hankook's are your best option. Your also gonna need wheel spacer's if you want to use the stock wheels.

 

I was planning to keep the stock rims, but I want 5. Dealer quoted me $275 for ONE rim, so I'll probably get new ones.

 

Im sure you could find someone on there that would sell you just 1 for much much less than $275.
