Ive been researching for months. Years actually.. Im on my second tacoma and finally want to lift this one. A couple inches is fine just to get it off the ground a little and put 265 75 16 tires on. Truck is a 13 2.7 double cab 2wd. Looking at billies and 2 inch add a leaf. Where i get completely lost is with this "damage can occur"..

Bilstein Adjustable lift kit with 5100 shocks for 2005 & UP Tacoma

1.5 to 3" lift kit with Eibach front coils (3" average lift is achieved with coils and setting the shock adjustment on the second C clip setting from the bottom)

Standard cab and 4cyl models should use the Lowest C Clip setting

DO NOT EXCEED THIS SETTING OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR

Is anyone running this lift over the lowest c clip setting? i was hoping to get closer to 2.5 inches and use the 2 inch aal to level out a little. Or is it better to just stay at 1.5 and use a 1 inch or 1.5 inch block in the rear? Being a 4cyl 2wd where is this damage occurring? to the struts or the ball joints? I know this topic gets beat to death but with my own situation id like some feedback from the experts here.thanks

Check with the Toyota dealerships in your area, my buddy has a 2013 with the 4 cyl. and had a READYLIFT 2 inch front/ 1 inch rear kit installed and kept his factory warranty and has had no problems with it. He has put about about 20,000 miles on it since the lift was installed. I had the same dealership put a READYLIFT 2,75 in. front and a 2 inch rear on mine couple months ago and put on 265x70x17 tires with no problems. Here is a photo of mine after the lift.

any time fog, tinted windows to 5% ,plasti dipped gun metal gray, toytec 5100's eibach coils ,led map and dome lights
I just put the toytec lift on my truck with the billies and a aal with the eibach coil and set a 0 with the eibach coils and 1/2 spacer and it looks pretty level could not get set at the .85 setting cause didn't have a spring compressor but looks damn good
