If you run Morimoto ballast and bulb combo what is your real world time from off to full brightness? I'm about to do another set of Retros for myself and right now I have denso's with Phillips 85122vx c1 extreme visions. The time from off to full brightness is about 3 seconds. Just wondering for my second set if it is worth spending the extra money for the denso ballasts or go with Morimoto?

    Thanks

I've never been in a situation where I needed rapid intensity of my headlights, but generally it's 6-7 seconds.

I don't necessarily need rapid illumination either, but I like quick ignition. It makes me wonder what kind of ballasts the wife's Sante Fe uses. They are up in literally 1 sec.

Andrew, how much more difficult to install are the ls460's compared to FX-R's on a 2012?
