I'm looking for a red LED spotlight that can be mounted either in the back seat over looking the bed or on the side of the bed. Any recommendations? I want red because I'd use it mostly in the early morning hours while getting setup for duck hunting or at night while striper fishing and I'd like to avoid the readjustment period and overall white wash effect in the dark. Also wouldn't mind having one mounted on the drivers side on the mirror/windshield that's moveable for checking water levels by my blind.

You can apply some red film to one of those. they sell the tail light repair kits at the auto stores or even pick up the stuff to paint it red... that way you an control how red it is.

On the eagle eyes above: How far do they really throw? Looking for an easy solution for reverse lights on a trailer (obviously white), could mount at an angle to spread light more. Just figure w/ the lower power draw, it would be a much simpler install.

Not far at all. They're really just accent lighting. Or for running lights is what I use them for. And blinkers.

Thanks for info. Have driving lights sitting around I'll install, just trying to think easier.

Red lights are nice. My map lights have red LEDs and these are in my bed. Sorry for the crappy pictures. They are red light pods hooked to a control box with all sorts of patterns, but I leave it set to constant. Press the button and they light up the bed nicely.
I know there is a write up and possibly a vendor on here that has LED strips that mount on the rails in the bed.
