Alright so I'm looking to lift the front end of my '97 5-lug. I need to spend as little money as possible (Don't we all?) WHILE retaining the correct geometry of all other associated parts (or as much retention as possible), even if I'll have to buy corrective parts. I'll be doing street driving 90-95% of the time with occasional light AZ off-roading. My main goals are to level out the truck for looks and for a little more front clearance. I've read about spacers, spindles, coils, shocks/struts, torsion keys, etc. to get a desired lift but do any of these options come with the issue of out-of-spec geometry and excess stress on parts? I know very little about suspension lifts. Any advice on what road I should take?

i would stay clear of strut spacers. Pick up a set of 5100's and set them at desired height. They go up to 2.5"

Would I need to buy different coils too or could I just use the stock ones?

Okay so it looks like a spindle lift is the way to go. I'm still researching but would I need to combine that with different shocks or coils?

That's up to you, I would. Do you want to add extra lift on top of the spindle lift? Do you like the stock ride? Just depends what you want

No, I think that'll be enough lift for me. I would like the smoothest ride as possible though. Will ride quality be affected if I do the spindle lift alone?

Not at all, it will keep the stock ride.
