Snowtank's His and Her's Build

As of 1/6/17 my baby is dead. I rolled her. So after a couple days of pulling off parts she is gone. Now my wife's truck gets all my stuff and also all the new stuff that was on order.

Well I have been around here for a couple years and finally decided to sit down and start a build thread. This is the first build I have really ever spent this much time or money on so her it goes.
Mine is a 2011 TxPro short bed in BSP. This is our expo build. This basically how she is today.


SUSPENSION ON HIS.
ADS 2.5 coilovers with resi's

This is the allpro packrack weld together kit. So the pic is after we measured/ cut it down/ welded it up and mounted it.

Then Infra, Myself, the Mrs. , TeamAmerica, Mh.Meier all went on a little 9 day Colorado expedition camping/wheeling trip.

Just outside of Silverton Co.

This was such a great trip. I have way to many photo's to load up but I will put up a couple. Basically this trip was for my 30th birthday and I am really lucky to have such good friends willing to drive out to Colorado to do this with me. We go to run Imogene Pass, Black bear pass. Those are the current ones I can remember the names of. I was mainly following Infra do to him knowing where we were going.

I don't remember this trail. But it was a fun place to stop and get some pics and take in the sights.

 

Yeah previous owner switched it out. Kinda pissed about it haha but ohwell she would have been pissed cause I would have stolen it from her.

 

I don't think we've met yet since I moved to AZ. Nice that you finally got a thread going!

So that was a fun trip. Came back and went on a camping trip up to Greenspeak az with Milota (Quenton)

And on the way home a storm started rolling in so we broke camp and got the hell out of dodge and ran right into the monsoon. And.......Tragedy struck.....

So We hit the storm and I came around a blind corner into a "T" on the road and abs kicked in as I tried to correct and took me off the side of the road and down into the valley about 80 or so feet taking out 2 signs a couple trees. I blew a tire and well completely fucked my baby up. Bumper's, skids, grill, hood, passenger side doors, antenna snapped off, mirror gone etc. ended up just above 15k in damage. Luckily I was not hurt at all, I got really lucky that I put my dogs in the back of my wifes truck cause I had all the camping gear in my truck. My wife drove right past me and didn't even see that I went off the edge.

 

Yeah we haven't met yet. I keep trying to spot you every time I am down in Tucson. I have to drive thru Oracle everytime I travel down. I will be back down mid march for a work thing and then the rug road trip.

So about 2 weeks later or so I got my truck back from the shop. They did a fantastic job!




So the entire pillar was dented in. And it looks better than new. Only problem was I had one freshly painted side and one side that still had all my az pinstrips all over it. haha ohwell.

Installing the rotopax

Smoked tail lights, and you can see the palfrey skid getting painted in the bottom of the picture.

I was playing around with some ideas while painting the skid and had a fuck up with a can of paint. The neon green I used under the black on the front of the skid started dripping all over the place so I starte sanding it down, placed a pelfreybilt sticker on the painted black over it then removed the sticker to show the green kind of camo under the black. Im digging how it turned out.

Cant really tell from it mounted that I did anything which is cool by me. //a low key thing I know is there.

Then repainted my grill with a gloss satin black spray paint and neon green for the emblem.

Then Emelianenkov flew out to Az to visit and did some gauge swaps for both mine and the wifes truck. This is the dash pulled apart in Whitney's truck. I didn't get any of mine torn apart.

And mine. Crappy sell pic. I will get some better ones. But it turned out so fucking awesome. And that is where I am at so far in these builds. I have to raid my other computer and see what I have picture wise. But for the most part I have more pics of what we take our trucks out to do and the adventures we go one the actual install of parts.
