The rubber trim between the fender and the flair...

I used the search function but no luck, what the heck do they call it? I looked all over the net for it. I noticed mine is starting to pull out and flap around in the breeze. I'd like to replace all 4 of the fender trim stuff.

I'm assuming you have an 01'-04' Tacoma, as you don't indicate such. They call that rubber strip "seal, flare". Simple eh? Here is a part number to begin with: 53851-35061.

The red and blue plastic clips that hold the flares onto the fender get brittle over time. With that said, they will probably break when you remove the flares and you will probably need to replace them. The clips are different so make a note of the location where they belong when you remove the flare. Its probably easier just to replace them all when you do it that way you'll have a better chance of being successful when reinstalling the flare. I bought my clips off of ebay at a reasonable price.

I just bought all four rubber strip last summer. They aren't all the same part #, FYI.

 

^^^ He's correct, they do have different part numbers, my apologies! I should've mentioned that in my prior post. That is the only number that I have so you'll have to call the dealership and they can help you with the rest. At the time I couldn't locate them on ebay so I had to go through the dealership.

I think that you will need 4 red and 2 blue clips per corner, so a total of 16 red and 8 blue. When i received mine, I had plenty of left over of each color and it was still cheaper than the dealership. They were sold by the bag and not individually, whereas the dealership were sold individually.
