    He broke his because he drives like a crazy high schooler (hes 28) and the cummins auto trannys are pretty crappy. I am not worried about mine. That is an interesting link though. Is that a specialty item that any performance place would upgrade, and if so, can it void warranties?

    U would have to check with ur local trans shops........ Many here and on another forum have done the upgrade themselves, I have not yet.

    warrantywise.....................if the dealer can PROVE the part caused damage

    X2 on the warranty. They have the burden of proof and must prove your parts caused the damage. On the flipside.... they might just be able to say "Toyotas components aren't made to work with that part"
