Much ado about 80 lbs?

    Okay, I'm not starting out trying to "diss" the new F150, but just read a comparison in Car and Driver between the full size Ford , Chevy, Toyota, and Dodge 1/2 ton trucks. All 4-dr, 4X4, loaded to the hilt. What was interesting was the comparison between curb weight. Ford was the lightest, no surprise there, but by only 81 lbs. over (under?) the Chevy. And this after all the hoopla over their weight saving aluminum construction.:eek:

    I read that as well and laughed. Total ford hype. New Raptor is gonna have a F150 motor now. The next big smoke and mirrors show......

    They did do a nice job styling the new GT though.
