    I have a 2010 prerunner v6, and am looking at a used, 2010 or later model, 4-runner for a second vehicle. Is a 4-runner pretty much a Tacoma with a fancy camper shell? I'm talking about the frame and power train, and am also interested in ground clearance.

    Shorter wheelbase, my wife and I have a 13 Tacoma and a 14 4Runner and love both. Our 4runner has a little more leg room for the kiddos by way less cargo. Both get roughly the same gas mileage.
