i installed some led strip running lights on my headlights about 3 months ago, i used a circuit tester and installed a add a circuit on the efi no 1 fuse because its hot with key on, off with it off, well..tonight makes the second time i just happened to venture outside and see the lights(led) on, the key was out of ignition, truck had been shut off for 4 hrs, doors were closed but not locked. i saw this earlier last week but the key was in ignition so i started it, shut it off and locked it. throughout the night i looked and nothing was on, come to tonight and they were lit. is this circuit suppose to come on periodically?? or do i have a electrical issue about to rear its ugly head? at work, i never notice them on throughout the day. this is strange. what other circuit could i tap under the hood in the junction box beside this one thats hot with key on and off with key off?

That circuit cycles on periodically. Not a huge concern, some of the fog light anytime mod instructions use this circuit.

You must have tied into the wrong fuse. The EFI fuse (20A) is powered all the time and wired straight to the battery. EFI 2 fuse (10A) turns on after the 5 hour soak timer times out when the ignition key is removed for the EVAP test to check for system leaks.

Tie it into the IG1 No2 Fuse, 10 ampere. It is on when the ignition is on and off when the ignition is off.

i understand now, but when it comes on after the 5 hr timer how long does it stay on? my vsv or purge valve is actually bad, making the cel come on, ive ordered the part, it honestly doesnt effect the way it runs to my knowledge. could the fact that the obd is detecting the fault make the circuit come on like this, ive been outside around my all hours of the day and night and just noticed this lol, i will switch to ing 2 in the morning

Check the fog light anytime mod threads, some of the guys have had this problem after doing the mod cause they got the wrong wire, (their fogs would come on randomally) and it should show you which wire to tap into.
