Looking for any advise and help to get back into a lifting routine. Nothing hardcore, but something to get me back in shape. Worked out religiously for 15 yrs. but have been away from it for 2 yrs. now. Something I can still handle without killing me . Thanks for any advise.

Not sure what's available out there as far as quality but if you can find a Crossfit gym w/good coaches it's amazing. There's a guy at ours well into his 60's and he loves it. You start of slow & if the coaches are good you will get TONS of training on movements and they show you how to scale every movement down to your ability and you can scale as needed and challenge yourself when you're ready. If you do it right it won't kill you but after playing sports and doing the cardio/lifting thing for nearly a decade I had lost the desire to keep going through the same boring BS. This has been so refreshing for me and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who asks about a way to get healthy. No more energy drinks beforehand or hateful/motivational music to take my mind off of what I'm doing because I actually look forward to going and enjoy it once I'm there. It's cardio, strength, mobility, stretching... just about anything concerning the human body. A fantastic all-around workout despite what some of the nay sayers are saying. Those who have had bad experiences generally had bad coaching so getting a good coaching staff really is the key.
