Btw, going to buy a swing out (just the arm) and looking to buy a camper top next month. I don't like the tire in bed, not enough room for shit.

    Swing out: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/pts/4842497735.html

Probably not going to fit but will do some modifications.

Huh swingout idea seems a bit sketch to me. Your bumper doesn't have a nice way to go about adding one.

As for buying parts, I was more suprised the exhaust manifolds didn't come with gaskets...but in terms of hiding it for the lady..fuck that haha my dad doesn't do that. He is constantly buying little gadgets and gizmos and toys. Granted he doesn't just go apeshit and I'm sure he only does an allotted amount per month or something but my mom doesn't care haha long as she gets her budget filled he can always have play money. :p

Sounds like you're just whipped solid :D

Nothing a little welding can't make work.

Im going to use the swing out as just a base and build off it. Not 100% sure on it just yet, getting everything figured out right now. Mostly focused on the turbo install.

From cdj1's build, Id like to try and make something like this:

    0cd786260c9ba247879bb558da51a38b_8234532c4185ccc5f094dabdfb2fa69335908ab1.jpg

judging from his pics and description his swingout uses a single shear spindle and cdj1's is a double shear.

You may be better off just building one from scratch.

That bracket might be hard to attach as is, but figured I could cut it up a bit and weld on...

Or just get this and do the top/bottom bracket Clint has: http://www.comp4x4.com/Tire-Carrier-Hinge-Kit-HEAVY-DUTY-1-3-4-Spindle.html

    On the to-do list

The tio and bottom bracket will be easier to incorporate into the TG bumper. I ha e seen the bumper a few times and looked at how to do it. It would not wrk well with a big single shear spindle which that double shear you post basically is just with the top bracket. You couldn't get it in good enough without some major modifications done to the bumper.

The double shear with the flat bracket would be easy to do though. As Clint has done. Add some plate or box tube and make it flat.

My only beef is it'll make the swingout stick out a bit..but when I built the one I id I made everything as tight to the truck as possible.

Should have a write on that soon too

Yeah, didnt see the double sheer spindles at first
I'll have to check your's out. I think the way Clint did his, it could have been a little tighter and even a bit higher but I don't think he has any clearance issues.

Turbo install delayed a week :( The v-band exhaust adapter for the turbo is missing. Also, DD car's transmission took a shit today :( :( :(

My vacuum hose locations are a little different than yours due to year differences, but I didn't mess with the brake booster line at all :notsure:. I put a nylon check valve on some of the post TB 3/8" hoses and a brass check valve on the PCV hose and that's about it. Why do you ask?
