Extang Tri-fold. Easy to install and use. Keeps bed and contents dry. Not expensive

Nice low profile. Hows it do at keeping things dry? Is that soft or semi rigid? Thanks

Keeps items dry. It is a one piece soft cover but framed in thirds with aluminum.
Easily folds open and closed in thirds. So far I have had it for 2 years and find it extremely easy to access items in the bed. I had a snap on cover on my gen 1 which was a PIA to open and close. Especially in cold weather.

Access Literider Roll-up. So far very happy. Rolls up & down easily, and allows full use of the oem cleats...:D

I've had an Access cover for several years. The regular one. I like the clean, simple look and prefer the roll-up style as I can uncover part or all of the bed if I'm hauling stuff.

    http://accesscover.net/access-rollup-cover.html

It's held up well. Even holds up under a foot of heavy snow. Keeps the bed dry even in the rain.

I liked how the cover fit behind the rails and still allows the use of the tie-downs. I installed it myself. I had a bit of a problem getting one of the rail bolts out as I did not have a good enough hex wrench with enough leverage.

Agreed, it's no "5 minute" install, but I like the "behind the rails" system also, and it just got tested with 22" of snow...no problem! ;)

I've had Truxxedo roll covers on my work trucks for past 10+ years and they've been great. I've had fold covers, roll in metal covers and my favourite by far have been the low pro truxxedosbfor durability, simplicity and function.

Pretty much identical thing as to the access cover being discussed as well.

I also have the access and it's been great. I've had mine for about 4 years and it has held up well. Rolls up quickly and rolls out quickly. I love the perfectly flat look across the bed. Nice and clean, tight as a drum.

i'm getting ready to add a bed cover to my Tacoma.

    Lund Genesis Tri-fold tonneau

Install/Uninstall is real easy and only takes about 5 mins if that. Still allows for use of factory bed rails and clamps and it keeps all my stuff dry here in the PNW. Has held up pretty well for the past 2 years now.

    Extang Tri Fold.

Chose it as much for ease of full removal for hauling bikes and kayaks as for keeping items dry when in place, plus the smooth look. The ability to open it 2/3 of the bed for use hauling some items was a bonus.

I can have it off the truck and stowed in the garage in less than 10, by myself. Faster if I hurried. Easy lift off from one side, one man.

anyone leave tonneau cover closed (either roll up or tri fold) and have the tail gate down to haul longer stuff or use a bed extender?
