Thinking about selling my Taco. Overall the truck is in great condition. KBB and NADA value is saying $26k-$28k.

I tested the waters at CARMAX today. $24,000. I knew they'd offer low, though.

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

List it for $4.37, then maybe I can talk you down to $4.25 (and I'll throw in a case of empties).... sounds good?

How about parting some of it out. You may get more that way than as a package

 

I thought about that. I could part out the Nav head unit, light bar, nerf bars and the bed cover. The Lift, intake, exhaust, MAF sensor, brakes, rims/tires, etc...I don't have the stock replacements. Sold them.

I know that I'm not going to get all my money back. Based off the NADA and KBB values plus what I put into it I might list it at $32k and go from there.

 

Go back to stock and try to make 50% ROI, then sell it to carmax for the $24k and you will come out on top.

 

Problem with that is I'd have to buy all the stock stuff first....
