Wondering if there's a larger TB for the 08 2.7 L engine. I'm not the most tech savvy when it comes to cars and engines, but I hear a larger carburetor (yes, I know the difference between a carb and a TB) can give more performance. I've considered turbocharging but have been advised against that. OK, what about a larger TB? Will that improve power?

My Taco has a manual transmission if that makes any difference. What do you think?

I think your wasting money your only talking about 5/8 of a liter at any given time of air the stock throttle body and filter will flow far more than that.

    Thanks.

Do you know the size of the TB on the 2.7 L (drive by wire) throttle?

Any other advice to improve performance? I know, I should have gotten a V6. Live and learn.

It really depends on what you are expecting when you say performance. There is really no cheap way to do it. A cam is one way. A Supercharger is another. Anything else like chips or headers are a joke.
