    Good morning!

Several months ago I replaced the headlights/grill and front side marker lights in my 2002 Tacoma p/up. Parts came from Rock Auto and all went back together well. EXCEPT getting the old grill out (since 02)--broke several of the little clips off the back that hold it in place.
Haven't diven the truck much since, until the other morning , in the pre-dawn dark-very foggy and icy--one of the headlights is way out of adjustment . (Never thought to check when I installed them.):annoyed:

Anyway--looking at them today--and even pulling off the little metal valence pieces under the headlights--I can't get to the two adjustment screws.
(again--stupid me) Are there any tricks to do this without removing the whole grill? I am sooooooooo afaid of breaking the back of those little clips again on this new grill....

Any suggestions on any of this would be appreciated- and thanks in advance!!

You dont have to take anything apart , It is tight to get to it but the adjustment is on the back of the headlight next to the battery same place on other side. I think its a 4 or 5 MM box end or open end Wrench .

ok--so you are saying the adjustment on the headlight 'bucket'--I call it--can be done from the 'back side' /engine side??

:confused::confused: Sure hope so--I'll look at it tomorrow in the middle of the day when it's supposed to warm up.

    Thank you-

Now I see--said the old blind man--

I went out and took a quick look with a flashlight few minutes ago...
Noticed the two long hex screws--looks like a 'torx head on end of them--that's got to be it-

-two on each side--one 'down under' going to be a dog to get to--:rant:
    Especially on battery side.

    Oh-well-

OK--closer exam only one long screw on each headlight bucket--not TWO like shown in Haynes manual. Anyway--got them very close to perfect on my garage wall last night--4mm -1/4 socket on small palm ratchet works perfect!

    Thank you again-
