You want a solid mid travel set up for sure. Look at coil overs up front with some 2.0 or 2.5(better) shocks out back with remote reservoir. Add in some uniball upper control arms and you'll be kicking ass in the desert. If you have the $$ some hydro bumps will help control the back end a little better than traditional bumps.

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
Icon stage 3 is what i have and it soaks up washboards and gravelly pot holed out roads amazingly. Cant even feel it. Your truck just floats right over.

You won't go wrong with the setups those guys are suggesting.

That said, if your budget is more limited than that, don't underestimate what you can do with a simple old-man-emu suspension and aired down tires.

I would do a 2.5 shock (King) with a uniball UCA (Camburg) and a spring under kit for the rear (DMZ or camburg).

Take it out stock. If you want more suspension, you'll know what is next on the list. You'll be surprised what they do stock.

Thanks guys. I have been eyeing the icons. I rather have the right setup before I get over zealous and break something.

So how do mid travel drive on highway will it feel pretty squirly at all?
